Our program

A careful home for the next chapter.

A transitional housing program for veterans — referral-first, built with honesty and without overclaims.

Who it serves

Veterans seeking a stable place to begin again.

Most veterans are expected to be referred by government agencies, VA/public agencies, and community partners. Self-inquiries are accepted.

Primarily serving Rockdale, Newton, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties, and welcoming inquiries from surrounding areas.

Detailed eligibility rules will be published once confirmed. We will not invent criteria.

Submitting a referral or inquiry does not guarantee placement.

Path to independence

A timeline toward stability — not a promise of placement.

  1. 01

    Intake

Referral or inquiry received, reviewed carefully, and acknowledged with a reference number.

  2. 02

    Stabilization

When placement is appropriate, prioritize safety, routine, and a calm place to land. Specific supports are confirmed during intake.

  3. 03

    Goal setting

Work together on practical next steps — housing, benefits, employment, and wellbeing — tailored to each veteran.

  4. 04

    Skill & employment building

Connect to community and VA resources that support independence, as appropriate and available.

  5. 05

    Transition toward permanent housing

Plan the exit toward longer-term stability. Length of stay and exit planning details are shared during intake and confirmed in writing when appropriate.
